6,547 m² Land for Sale in Agia Galini, Agios Vassilios

About this property

Set in Agia Galini, Rethymnon, this piece of land is offered for sale. With roughly 6,547 m² of land, the site gives real flexibility for its future use. The climate does a lot of the work: with mild winters and long, dry summers, outdoor space is genuinely usable from spring well into autumn. Remote working is well supported, with fibre connections reaching most of the area and cafés happy to host a laptop for a morning.

Mornings here start slowly — a bakery run, a coffee at the local square — while evenings belong to long dinners outdoors for most of the year. The prefecture reaches from the north-coast resorts to the quiet mountain villages of Amari and the south-coast beaches around Plakias and Agia Galini. Rethymnon sits between Chania and Heraklion, pairing a well-preserved old town and Venetian fortress with a long sandy beach that starts right at the city centre. Its central position makes the whole of Crete accessible for day trips, while both island airports are about an hour away.

Running costs remain reasonable for the category, and professional management is available locally for owners who spend part of the year abroad. Comparable homes in the area have been absorbed quickly in recent seasons, a sign of the depth of demand at this price point. If this property is not quite the right fit, our portfolio includes comparable options in the surrounding area that we can present at the same viewing trip. Every listing we publish has been reviewed by our team, and we are happy to share the full documentation with seriously interested parties.
