Seafront 43,000 m² Plot of Land for Sale in Saktouria, Rethymnon

About this property

A parcel of land now available for sale in Saktouria, Rethymnon, looking out over the water. The plot extends to approximately 43,000 m². Wide sea views accompany daily life here, one of the qualities buyers ask for first and find most rarely. The water's edge is literally steps away.

Remote working is well supported, with fibre connections reaching most of the area and cafés happy to host a laptop for a morning. Walkers, swimmers and cyclists will find their routine easily here; the landscape invites you outside all year round. For families, the area offers schools, playgrounds and a safe, community-minded environment where neighbours still know each other. Rethymnon sits between Chania and Heraklion, pairing a well-preserved old town and Venetian fortress with a long sandy beach that starts right at the city centre.

Its central position makes the whole of Crete accessible for day trips, while both island airports are about an hour away. The prefecture reaches from the north-coast resorts to the quiet mountain villages of Amari and the south-coast beaches around Plakias and Agia Galini. The combination of location and specification positions the property well for capital preservation, with rental income as a realistic option when not in personal use. From an investment standpoint, properties of this profile have shown consistent demand from both end users and holiday-rental operators.
